Hello November!

What a busy (and fun!) week we’ve just had! Tryouts, Pink Out, Dance, Fun Friday, and of course Halloween. We saw some amazing costumes on Friday! As teachers, we’re happy to have survived the sugar rush, but we kindly ask that students keep their Halloween candy at home this coming week.

Congratulations to our teams! A huge shout-out to our baseball and softball teams. We can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish this season!

Looking Ahead: This coming week is the calm before the storm! We have picture retakes on Friday and two basketball games on the schedule. Take a deep breath now… the mad dash to the end of the year is right around the corner!

Stay Informed: Please make sure you read our Parent Square messages and follow us on Facebook for updates. Everything you need to know is shared digitally.

Attendance Matters: Please help us by ensuring your student is present every day unless they are truly ill. Every day counts! Every minute matters! If your student is absent, a written note, email, or medical note is required to excuse the absence.
  • Parents are allowed five (5) guardian notes per semester.
  • Students with 12 or more unexcused absences may be referred to court.
Students with no unexcused absences and 3 or less unexcused tardies (Oct. 27 - Dec. 16) will have an exclusive celebration at the end of the quarter.

As the temperatures drop, please remember:
  • Pullover hoodies and blankets are not allowed in halls or classrooms.
  • These items must be stored in lockers during the school day.

Christmas Store Donations

It’s almost time for our favorite time of year! Our Annual Christmas Store, where students get to shop for special gifts for their loved ones! We’re looking for new or regift-quality items suitable for all ages - men, women, teens, grandparents, and children.

Donations can be dropped off at our school or at our community partner, Ollie & Finn’s.

Thank you for helping make this wonderful holiday tradition possible for our students!

Cookie Dough Delivery Monday Nov. 10

Mark your calendars! Our cookie dough orders will be delivered to the school on Monday. We’ll send out a ParentSquare message once pick-up is ready to begin. Pick-up ends at 6:00 p.m. and will take place at the back of the school.

Please note that we cannot store frozen cookie dough, so all orders must be picked up on Monday. Orders of 5 boxes or less will be sent home with students.

Veterans Day Celebration

We are proud to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Veterans and active-duty family members of our students are invited to join us on Tuesday, November 11, for a light breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by a patriotic celebration at 9:00 a.m. We look forward to celebrating your service and sacrifice together as a school community.
