Every Minute Matters

September 14, 2025

What a Week at CMS!

It’s been a busy, exciting week here at EA Cox and we wouldn’t have it any other way! From the powerful Steered Straight presentation that gave parents and guardians eye-opening tools to protect our youth, to the high-energy Homecoming week events! Our campus was full of pride, spirit, and community.

Students brought their Cougar pride to life with spirit days, cheered loud at the big Homecoming showdown against Mt. Pleasant, and enjoyed a fun-filled Homecoming Hangout with games, face painting, snacks, and plenty of Cougar spirit! A special congratulations to our Homecoming Court - you made us proud.

We also wrapped up the week with Parent-Teacher Conferences - thank you to every parent and guardian who came to partner with us in supporting student success.

And now…we’re keeping the momentum rolling! Our Cookie Dough Fundraiser kicked off September 11, and we need every student to sell at least 2 items to help us reach our goal. Remember that awesome prizes are on the line, from free popcorn on Fun Friday, to a special school dance, a movie field trip, money grab, and even a $50 gift card for our top seller!

It’s been a long week, but what an amazing one. Next week is looking just as great! Thank you for helping us make EA Cox such a vibrant, spirited place for our students!
