Cougars, we are off to a strong start this school year! The energy in the building is contagious, and it’s been exciting to see students settling into routines, building friendships, and showing Cougar pride. As we head into Week 3, let’s keep the momentum going. Remember to show respect, keep hands & feet to yourself, and bring your best every day.
This week also kicks off the return of clubs! Pep Club and Student Council are getting started, and there will be even more opportunities announced in the coming weeks. With Picture Day, Pajama Day, and sports gearing up, there’s plenty to look forward to at CMS!
Please read through for details and reminders for the upcoming school year.

We are removing school-issued locks from all student lockers. Students who wish to secure their locker may bring their own lock from home. Any student using a personal lock must complete a locker agreement form signed by both the student and their parent/guardian, acknowledging that administration may access the locker if necessary.
Please remember, school policy requires that backpacks and phones be kept in lockers during the school day. Students should choose a lock (combination or key) they can manage responsibly to help keep their belongings safe.
