Every Minute Matters

August 10, 2025

Hello Cougar Families

We made it through our first week of school and what a fabulous week it was! We loved seeing all of you back in the halls, catching up with friends, meeting new faces, and settling into our routines. At EA Cox Middle School, every minute matters, and this year is already off to an amazing start. Let’s keep that Cougar pride strong all year long!

Make sure students turn in their packets on Monday for a token worth 5 tickets at the Cougar store!

Every student will participate in our first Fun Friday this week! This means extra free time and concessions. Send a few dollars with your student if they would like to purchase popcorn, candy or drinks. Students may participate in future fun Fridays by not having ISS/OSS, tardies and having their work completed each week.

Please read through for details and reminders for the upcoming school year.
