Whew! TCAPs are over! Our Cougars did an amazing job! It's difficult to change an entire school's testing culture but there was a significant shift toward the positive. We couldn't have done that without the dedication of our staff, the hard work of our students and the support of our Cougar families. We know everyone gave it their best and we're excited to see the test results later this summer!
With that said, TCAPs are over but we're NOT DONE teaching! Monday we will return to normal schedules and a full day of learning. Often times people believe "we're done" after testing and that is simply not true. A full day of instruction will resume as do the expectations for behavior. Just as in sports, we're not giving up halfway through the 4th quarter. We're commited until the final whistle blows - we've still got work to do!
Yes, our guardians still have work to do, too - the end of the month is nearly here - by April 30th all of our returning students should be registered! We've had less than half of our families complete this task so far. It's imperative so we know how to plan for next year! If you think the process is overwhelming, it is not! We've uploaded a step by step how to register on both Facebook and in a previous parentsquare post.
Also, Lost & Found: We show daily pictures of our lost & found items on the TVs within the building. If your student has lost something, please have them check with Ms. NeeCee in the couselors office ASAP. All items will be donated at the end of the year.
