School is back in session tomorrow, Monday Dec. 2nd. We hope everyone had a nice, enjoyable Thanksgiving Break. Just 3 short weeks and we will be out again for Christmas. Tomorrow we will start diagnostic testing and will continue throughout the week. Students who show improvement will be invited to celebrate in our Holiday Social. We ask you encourage your student to finish the semester strong, stay focused and finish their assignments. We have a lot to accomplish the next few weeks!
And while we are learning, we also have some fun things planned. Make sure you check out Dr. Potts' 12 Days of Christmas celebration. Starting Dec. 5th, we will have a dress up theme based off a holiday song or movie. Our students will have an opportunity to shop in our Christmas Treasures store for their own gifts for family members. This is a fantastic tradition that we are happy to continue. (If you have new or gently new items you would like to donate, we will still take it!) We're holding a door decorating contest for each classroom. Of course, we have our winter concert coming up, spirit night at Hattie Jane's, our holiday social & a few more surprises!
It's going to be a busy few weeks & we're all looking forward to sharing this season with our students, staff, parents & community partners.

Tutoring is available for all students immediately after school Monday - Thursday. Students may attend any day of their choosing or all the days for extra help - no committment or sign up necessary. Parents must pick students up by 4pm. If this becomes an issue your child will be eliminated from afternoon tutoring.

As temperatures fluctuate during the day - students take off their jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, etc. and leave them in random places. As we collect these items, we broadcast them across the in-school monitors & ask students to claim the missing items in the counselor's office. If your child has misplaced something, please have them check lost & found. All remaining items will be donated before Winter Break.
