October 2024
Hello Cougar Families
Can you believe we're almost done with October? Fall is finally in the air. Almost overnight, the leaves have changed color - it's great time of year!

Our basketball season started on Thursday - be sure to check the schedule at the bottom of this newsletter.

We had a Halloween Dance Party Friday after school and let's just say, the kids had the best time! Halloween is on Thursday and our drama club is sponsoring dress up day! Students that pay $1 can wear their costume to school - no masks & no props! MCPS dress code still applies to costumes.

Earlier this week, we had the ribbon cutting for our Lawrence Horner Library. After months of hard work, we finally have a newly renovated library that is absolutely beautiful. We're excited to share the old-fashioned library experience in a modern world with our students. We can't wait to get books in the hands of our students. Be on the lookout for information regarding our upcoming Battle of Books competition.
